@ryanblock Watts=Volts*Amps. So two batteries could be same size in watt hrs and have different amp hrs because they are different voltages.

@Gernot Proof the Nobel is totally political,as if Al Gore wasn't enough. Krugman would fail basic exon if taught by an actual economist.

Prediction: New iPods to be announced Tue Sept 16th. The Touch is the new iPod. Expecting 32 and 64 gig models. The nano? Who knows?

Xcode tip for clueless like me: in debugger, right click on the variable and select "Print Description To Console" --Much better than NSLog!

A crossword app for the iPhone is netting $1200 a day after Apple's %30 cut -- I think there might be something to this AppStore thingy!
@rentzsch fair enough but itgives you and the attendees another option, though it might make detecting when you're sold out more of a hassle
@rentzsch you can set up a google checkoutaccount in 15minutes. Better than the 5-infinity days paypal will take. Paypal is untrustworthy!
I'm really feeling the NDA pain, I know my problem is answered in "The iPhone Developers Cookbook", but Apple won't let @ericasadun sell it!
@nigeleccles I'm basing my prediction on Apple's relative slowness to build new platforms, and the tablet market doldrums. But we'll see!
Prediction: Apple will *not* come out with another tablet computer (other than the ipod/iphone line) within at least the next 18 months.
Prediction: The mysterious product transition: The iPod Touch is the new iPod. More price competitive with the iPhone and "iPod" capacity.

@mikerentas The FSF hates and harasses Apple because GNU failed while OSX is great. Pure jealousy from those who can't toward those who did!
@wisequark Yes- Practical Programmer's CoreAnimation book is good, but it will be better after the Fucking NDA is lifted.

Joe Nocera IS a slimebucket, who's aiding an extortion scheme against Apple. The NYT has no integrity. This SEC should investigate Nocera!

Got Wrong: Only one new phone was announced. Probably for the better. Long live the iPhone G3! (until next summer anyway).
Got right: iPhone G3 doesn't use carbon fiber, but the plastic back isn't only "plastic" either- it appears to include a ceramic composite.
Prediction: Apple will introduce an innovative low-end laptop in the $400-$500 range within the next 18 months (not inside info, or a rumor)
Prediction: Apple will announce two new iPhones, not one. One will be a "pro" G3 version, the other will be a smaller low cost version.

Daniel Eran Nails it, though I think the impact is %50 mac and %50 ipod/iphone: http://tinyurl.com/6xp548
